Seems like the last time I wrote an update here I was in college. That's so weird to think of. Well, I graduated, and I'm working now as an editor and trying to become an author, as in I have some books & they're even published but we'll see if I end up making any money from it lol
uh what else
ok that's sad. besides my slight success in life there's nothing much good to talk about... no that's not true. I'm filming stuff for fun with my sister, fandom stuff. We had a lot of fun with that yesterday.
I also am writing the longest story I've ever attempted (it's a fanfic). I started it in February, the 15th I think, when things were really bad and I wanted to escape into a fake world. Wrote almost nonstop for two months and got a novel-length thing but it's still going. In the summer I stopped but during Nanowrimo I picked it up again and am continuing it... this thing is HUGE it intimidates me. I think it'll still take me two weeks after Nanowrimo to finish it. But I have sworn to finish it this year, so we'll see. The fanfic is Death Note and not only have I learned a lot craft-wise in writing it, the story is actually really fun, and it has helped me a lot emotionally. So that is good stuff.
What else? I participated in Dracula Daily and had the most awesome time. I also did all of Inktober, without missing a day, for the first time. I'm super proud of that. I even got a couple of good pictures from it.
I got new secondhand ink pens (not for Inktober—I haven't written in them yet because, uh, they are full of dried up old ink and I've been soaking them in alcohol after washing them in warm water but there's still bits in them help)
New book coming out soon professionally. Yay!
uh yeah so... other than that... still trying to get some stuff done. oh I also made a website. that was cool. I coded it myself on neocities. I don't even really know coding only some html mostly but I figured out some css too, and it's a complete mess and it's really obnoxious but I like it.
very foggy out today. the sky was paper white and I tried to write a haiku about it. It didn't turn out so good though.
